FAQ 1000 Islands Tower
Do I need a reservation?
No, you do not need a reservation. We do not offer online reservations. Please come to our ticket counter and our friendly staff will sell you a ticket.
What happens is if is raining on the day of my visit?
The 1000 Islands Tower is open rain-or shine: visits will not be cancelled for inclement weather unless the Management determines that it is unsafe to visit the Top of the Tower.
How do I get to the Top of the 1000 Islands Tower?
Our spacious and fast elevator does all the work for you. In just around 40 seconds it will take you from the Gift Store to the first of 3 Observation Decks where you will be greeted by our friendly tour guide. The First Level is glass enclosed. From this level you take around 40 steps to the 2 Open Observation Decks.
Can I take the stairs from the ground level all the way to the top?
We are very sorry, but the outside Staircase is the Emergency Exit and has to be clear at all times.
Do I need a passport?
The 1000 Islands Tower is located on Hill Island Canada. Guests arriving from Canada do not need a passport. Guests arriving from the U.S. need to cross the border and need a passport.
Can I bring my pet to the 1000 Islands Tower?
Pets are not allowed inside the 1000 Islands Tower. Exceptions allowed for registered service animals.
Which credit cards are accepted?
At our ticket counter we accept Credit Cards with PIN Number, Interac Debit Cards, Canadian and US Cash.
Where do we park our vehicle?
Convenient parking for cars and RV's is available at our generous parking lot free of charge.
How early should I arrive for my visit?
10 Minutes should be sufficient for getting your tickets and in line for the elevator ride.
Is there a smoking/non-smoking section?
The 1000 Islands Tower is committed to maintaining a non-smoking environment for our staff and guests. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
