The 1000 Islands Tower on Hill Islands is looking for new team members for the following positions:

The 1000 Islands Tower is a family owned busy tourist attraction in the heart of the 1000 Islands on Hill Island.
We are looking for motivated team members who love talking to visitors from all over the world and share the beauty of the 1000 islands.
Tasks
Act as an ambassador of the 1000 Islands and greet visitors with enthusiasm

Respond to questions about life in the 1000 Islands

Explain local history and give guidance to other local attractions

Provide directions and other pertinent information to visitors.

Monitor visitors' activities to ensure safety practices.

Sell Admission Tickets to the 1000 Islands Tower

Perform Gift shop sales

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning in public spaces
Seasonal position to from May 13 to October 15, 2024
Minimum Requirements
* keen interest in the 1000 Islands and Area
* open friendly personality
* retail experience and working with cash an asset
* responsible and reliable
* able to work independently and as part of a team
* knowledge of French or German an asset
Hourly wage: 16.55 per Hour
Bonus: 1.00 per Hour for every hour worked if you stay until the end of the season
Transportation required. Bridge Pass provided.
Hours: very flexible for min. 12 hours to 30 hours a week
Core Opening Hours 10 am to 4 pm
Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday a must.
